Well i have been fighting an exhaust leak for too long, but i think i may have finally put an end to that this weekend. I installed a 4” flex pipe with v-bands and relocated the AFR sensors down stream a couple inches to make room. The welds arent the prettiest, but it seems to be leak free so far.

    Thanks Bill:fistbump:
    Good evenin John:hattip:
Thanks, i had to think it through but i am happy with how it turned out! I was definitely nervous to start cutting it all up though lol
Thanks Maner! It was a learning experience for sure, stainless has been pretty difficult for me. I also need to get a good welding helmet. I tried buying an auto darkening one from harbor freight but it is too dark for TIG and caused me to mess up a couple times. Do you have any recommendations for a helmet that is good for TIG?

Did you get an auto darkening one with a brightness adjuster?

I can recommend the Hobart Creator Series helmet, I got one from Northern Tool. They have graphics options or plain black.

Odd, I use mine for tig with no issues. But I also use a glass cup...

Is your adjustable. I tend to run darker when tig welding as I am closer to the work. I have some expensive hoods but for my day to day work I use a Miller elite and the harbor freight arc safe.

When you adjust it does it change at all? Maybe it’s broken

Haha i wouldnt be surprised if it turned out to be something i am just doing wrong, but it just seems really dark. I have been switching back to a non auto darkening one and i can see out of it better its just a pain when starting and the head adjustment is messed up. Been trying to make that work in the mean time

Yes it is and ive tried turning it to the lightest setting but it still is very difficult to see out of for some reason.

Yes, it does seem to adjust some.. It just goes from too dark to cant see shit lol
