    I agree with this.

Also depending on your location the price could be great/terrible. If you are serious, I would go take a looksee. If you do not know much about vehicles or Tacomas try and take someone who understands the truck/suspension/lifts. Every time I buy a used anything I try and analyze the entire situation including the seller, ask questions, let them talk, do not answer for them.

Where do they take it wheeling, how rough are the trails in that area, ask about social media, investigate to see if there are any pics of it at the bottom of a river, stuff like that. This will give you an idea of the trucks life.

My opinion might be skewed but I don't think its that bad from the pics and If I were to make the purchase it would be negotiated and be under the assumption that I'm ready to handle whatever might come my way. Mechanically and financially.

Ask yourself if you are ready for that. Be honest with yourself, if the answer is no. I suggest you purchase a stock truck and build from there at your known pace. Also, nothing wrong with walking away. I have walked away from so many deals because I could not provide the future work/time/money for the vehicle. Good luck, sometimes the emotions get the best of us.

Either way TacomaWorld is here for you.

    Haha.
Yes. A tree saver is for winching. It gets wrapped around a tree so the winch cable doesn’t cut through the bark.
Good luck in your search for the right truck.

This is one of those types of trucks that your do your diligence on and out of the blue the engine blows up six months later.

My brand new, not modded, full warranty one only ran 4k more. Also the 16 lacks the powered rear slider.

    Crack pipe.

Ummm NO! Aren't both front wheels supposed to turn left or right together. Either camera angle or busted front end. If I was trying to sell I sure wouldn't use that last pick.

To give some perspective I bought last year a 2018 OR 4x4 with 15k miles for $31k the only mod on it was sound system.

We don’t know enough to know the actual condition and maintenance performed on this truck, which are more important than the (not very well described) mods. Could be good, could be bad, but the lack of specificity would concern me. My 2016 TRD OR has about the same mileage, trouble-free and pretty much drives like new except the OEM Bilsteins are getting a bit weak. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a well-maintained 3rd Gen with this mileage. Unfortunately resale being what it is, the value compared to new seems off. But that’s the Tacoma market. Good luck in your search!

Yeah, now that I’m looking at the directions the front wheels are facing, my mind is even more blown by this ad.

I wouldn’t at that price. Maybe for 20K.

I would pass and look for a newer truck and most importantly, have it checked by a knowledge mechanic.

Gotta agree ... A stock rig is always more valuable that one that had already been modified (Look at any classic muscle car from the 60's-70's) ....
I know Tacos hold their value well, but ... Who knows what quality/useful mods were done .. If done RIGHT .. And they may not be what you might have done yourself kinda' thing.
And 75K miles (IMHO) is not near new. I'm amazed at the local FB groups here where someone is selling a rig and says 'low miles' ... and it turns out to be '190K' on it. 'Low miles'?? Really?
