Morning. I got this at Wally World for $10.99. It's good for temp but no wind or rain gage. I want one for the truck but have not found what I want.

Morning. Ended up helping the neighbor with a tree yesterday. So tile is not up yet. Maybe today...depending on whether I choose to watch the super bowl or not. Hope you have a great day. Stay Well...Stay Safe

Yeah boiler 2 zone heat system with retrofit AC and air handler is in the attic. So no way to add whole house humidifier. Have a couple stand alone humidifiers but don't mess with them much anymore. Multilevel house and the upstairs thermostat is set to 70 which the kitchen and upper level is. Living room is mid level and the unit is set on an outside wall so a few degrees cooler when it is this cold outside. In the summer I usually have the AC set to 67.

Last summer started replacing my blinds with triple cell cellular smart blinds. Opened the kitchen window blind this morning and was shocked at how cold the air was that came out of it, I could feel it running over my hands and down over the sink. Still have a few more to do but that kicked me into gear to keep on replacing the ones in the bedrooms.

Oh screw that LOL. Have thought about going that route with a PID controller and automatic temperature controller for the smokers\grills. But then think about it and doing more IT crap after work and end up with just take my money! :spending:

Bought an Acurite weather station with Bluetooth wind and rain gauge for my wife from Costco. Ours lasted about 10 years. One of our rare heavy snowstorms killed the unit. She got another one this Christmas that will go up when it’s safe to walk on the roof.

That sucks. I have Accu Weather on my phone, which I love but I'm a old school guy like looking down at a steam gage (or digital) I'm hooking up a simply safe soon. That would be cool to see the temp and other data thru that system as well.

When the indoor humidity gets in the upper 30s in my house I can feel the dryness on my skin.

I have an Ambient Weather station. WiFi built in and wireless. Records outdoor and indoor temperatures, outdoor and indoor humidity, rain fall accumulation, rainfall rate, wind speed, wind gust, wind direction, barometric pressure, and calculates windchill. The screen plots out the last 72 hours of several data points that you can select. Uploads to weather underground. Station ID is KCTNAUGA11

It’s not a Davis Instruments, but it does the job.

I've always been called "Zim" especially in the Navy. Our last name being on our uniforms. Dave is okay, or anything else like asshole, phucker, etc. etc. LOL.

That is still high tech, we just go by the rock method. If a rock is wet it is raining. If it is white snow. etc.
