Ordered mine on black Friday Nov 27. It seems they got really behind with the holiday orders. The powder coating shop they use also closed from Christmas until around Jan 4. If you've had trouble contacting them use the contact form via their website. That should get you through to Jessica's email. (Their sales and info emails are not working correctly.) I would recommend asking her for an update vs trying to call them (all calls go straight to Jeff's cell).

I was going to say they are all hand built /welded. Not sure on Westcott’s lead times but most other companies are showing 30-60 day lead times on sliders. Hope that helps

Might be missing this but with the bolt ons, do they use preexisting holes or do you need to drill? The quality of these is apparent and I'm really considering snagging some.

Uses all pre existing holes except one hole per slider that needs to be drilled....bottom of frame rail towards the rear. I didn't drill mine. Not sure it's entirely necessary, but I'd drill them if you plan to jack the truck up from the kickout with a hi lift for example.

There are no install instructions yet, but I will say you're gonna have to very slightly trim that black plastic box/cover on the outside of passenger frame rail, and remove the small silver bracket from the wiring on the driver side frame (under the driver door area). I also chose to remove the forward- most brake line clip inside the frame rail (white clip) in order to get one more bolt through that slider. I purchased two longer bolts from Lowes for one bolt hole on each slider towards the rear. Also, you'll have 2, maybe 3 leftover bolts and hardware when you get done. They send extras.

    Hope that helps.

Since you mentioned the top plates and the family using them as a step, get the 0 degree version. Mine are 20 degree and they don't stick out very far from the truck. The kickout would be a decent step if I had the top plate, but the rest of the 20 degree slider is not a great step. I'll post a couple pics for you of the 20 degree.

For sure that'd be great. Was planning on going 0 deg for those reasons anyways. I've been doing lots of searching on sliders and the quality of the Westcott designs blew me away. Looking forward to some pics. If I can save money by not powder coating them I may...the welds are pretty but black just goes with the truck much better (AG here).

Get a powder coat. It'll be tougher than any paint job we can do at home and will resist rust better. Especially if you save on shipping, use that money for powder coat. Plus you won't have to deal with painting a ~50 lb slider in your garage or outside.

I think it would be cool to have them raptor lined, but I preferred to just let them handle the powder coat and bolt them on upon arrival.

Yeah I know...just gotta wait a few months to save and spread out the mods. Tempting to do everything at once, but I could really use these sooner rather than later. I've just been blown away by the aftermarket these trucks have, loving the community and vendors for the Taco

Yeah, dude. Taco will also take you pretty far stock! My sliders took 8 weeks, so if it's a priority maybe try to get your order in soon. I can't give financial advice, though

I'm gonna dump a bunch of pics here since it's probably the only Westcott sliders thread. Pics will include the couple of install things I mentioned in the previous post. Give me a few minutes to post them up...

Here's what they look like after ripping around the sand dunes yesterday evening. Brought a little sand home.

Hell yeah, that's really helpful. Doing some more in depth searching over these vs caliraised. Probably go latter since they're much closer, but these are so nice. Haven't seen close ups for craftsmanship on caliraised (aka apex fab), which is my biggest concern. I really like how Westcott isn't afraid to show their work off under a microscope

Runnin4Tacos has a YouTube video on sliders and they show the Apex fab. Talks about them. Also shows Westcott and others.

Those sliders look extremely clean, as well as the voodoo blue taco. Seems like those sliders are going back far enough to adequately protect the entire cab.
