Yo! Tewk here, absolute 100% lurker on TW. I figured it's finally time to make a thread to track mods, maintenance, and take some photos of whatever I'm working or doing with it.

    THE NAME AND THE TRUCK:
The truck was named by my group of friends as the "Tewkoma" after my online handle Tewk. It just kind of stuck.

This truck is 2016 SR5 I4 4x4 Auto, purchased in 2018 with 6900 miles. The 4 cylinder is slow, and has absolutely no guts when you get on the gas pedal. So, it's perfect.

Here's how the truck looked on the day of purchase:

It came with a soft tonneau, bed mat, full service history, and a full set of unopened Volkswagen OEM floormats in the bed?:confused: (I figured the sales guy would remove them, but he didn't. Nice, free floormats!)

Since then I've done some mods, hauled some motorcycles, and taken it on a bunch of trips. I'll slowly be updating this thread with pictures and maintenance history.

    MODS:
    KC Hilites fog lights
    Hella Sharptone Horns
    Hondo Garage Phone Mount
    FIA TRS49-43 Black Seat Covers
    Gator Floormats (front only)
    Armrest Cover Thing
    Black Grill Trim Ring
    Lomax Hard Tonneau
Diode Dynamics 30" Amber light bar, driving style.

Not the first mod, but the first I have a good photo of. Black grill trim ring! I only did this a few weeks ago, but I dig the non chromed look.

I got these FIA Wrangler seat covers a few days ago and got them installed. Simple process, happy with the results. They come in a few different designs. So far, I like them. We will see how they hold up on ski trips and mtn biking trips.

Figure it's time for an update. Woo! Got new Michelin Defender LTX M/S Tires a few months ago. So far, these have been great in the wet and snow. Anecdotal data suggests I'm getting .5 MPG more than stock. Since I keep track of all fill ups and MPG, I'll report back in a few months to see if this is true, or just random.

    Double update!

Added an amber light bar from Diode Dynamics, more photos to come when I get it fully adjusted:

In this photo, you can also see the additional horns (beep beep).

Pretty easy, toughest part was getting the stock bolts off. Most useful tool for this was 14mm & 10MM ratcheting wrench. Diode dynamics has a video on youtube with decent instructions and visuals: https://youtu.be/SMuKTA9nPpM
