Suspension suggestions.... please

I have a 21 taco off road that I'm looking to get a lift kit for. I would love a long travel kit but not practical as a daily driver in town. I do drive long rutted out gravel roads multiple times a week. I want something that has some more down travel to give a smooth ride and eat the bumps. Would be sweet to not feel potholes as well considering my town doesn't know anything about road maintenance.

I love my Elkas 2.0 fronts--- I just put those on my2020 after running 3" spacers for 8 months.

They make a 2.5 and with Res and dials. Super super nice ride. Canadian Company. I ordered them and they shipped tuned with 700lb shocks for my bumper slider, roof rack etc.

Also-- I don't know if Headstrong carries these. But they have great customer service for sure. I've gotten a couple things from them.

It really comes down to cost and how you use the truck. The better more sensitive shocks will cost you $$$. That would be fox 2.5’s, bistein 8112’s, kings etc. They will make it feel like you’re riding on clouds. You’ll be able to do those gravel roads going 90. You have to pay to play though. Are you willing to rebuild them every 30k to 50k miles. Can you afford not having your truck for a week. You also need to get those shocks custom tuned if you have added weight. If you can’t or don’t want to deal with the hassle, just get Bilstein 6112’s and 5160’s for the rear. You’ll get a larger capacity shock that will absorb larger hits much better and fade less. You don’t have to get a custom tune and they should last 40k and upwards at which point you just replace them. Cost effective yet high level performance. They were literally developed on the second gen Trd pro. Don’t waste your time with 5100’s. Ask me how I know.

OP that’s the step in the right direction FWIW eibach and Bilstein’s great budget lifts. 5100’s are fine as well contrary to the

 

I’ve heard good things about the eibachs for the price. I’m hopefully looking to only buy once a and cry once. Don’t need anything over kill. Coil overs in the front and some sort of remote reservoirs in the rear.

Just got my 17” icon wheels in and want to fit 285/70/17 in so I need to go up 2 inches.
I’m all new to all this so it’s taking more time then expected haha
