Better ones do, the Duluth trading version was the best one I tried before I went to a rear seat delete

In for answers..... I've had my 85 pound german shepherd and 70 pound doberman pincher in my double cab but it ends up covered in dog hair regardless of if i have a divider or seat cover. I just bought a softtopper, and a bed mat. I intend on putting them both in the bed of the truck for now on. In some cases i will put them in the double cab but only when needed.

    Pull Out Drawers.jpg

    Inverter #2.jpg

My working dog has his own crate and personal heater or fan plugged into the inverter above. While I waited on the cap to come from the factory, he stayed in the back seat. However, the hair, drool and slobber was tremendous. The pull out drawers are secured to the bed with two bed bolts and the crate is secured to the top of the pull out drawers. There is room for a second crate if necessary. The mess is easy to hose out and my cab is a lot cleaner.

Or dog hair..my wet okoles were like a magnet for dog hair and a vacuum did nothing to remove.

I have the cover king carhartt covers now, but for my dogs, I keep the back seat down and one of those hammock style covers (attached to the seat latches instead and of the back seat headrests).

I have a very similiar design I got off Amazon for around $50, but mine appears to be more padded. It's held up very well to three large dogs. I have heard good things about that one from Duluth Trading though.

Am I the only one who didn’t know you can put the headrests back on like that? :anonymous: I just always left mine in the garage whenever I folded down the rear seats.

    thanks for posting those pics

I have a husky that rides in the back seat occasionally. He usually starts in the back seat but ends up trying to climb over the console a few minutes down the road. Bartact makes a mesh pet divider that I was going to try, but haven’t ordered it yet.

The oem seats were terrible about getting the dog hair woven into it and it took forever to get it out. I went with Bartact seat covers front and back. The dog hair doesn’t get woven into the fabric and is a lot easier to vacuum or roll off with a lint roller.

Be VERY careful to not put them back on backwards. Not sure if they made any changes to the design since 2014, but I inadvertently did this on one side of my old truck & wasn’t ever able to get it back out. Traded the truck in with it still stuck backwards! Probably user error & some easy fix would’ve worked, but no one I know was strong enough to pull it out.

somewhere in east TN there’s a lifted blue 2014 DCSB TRD Sport with a backwards headrest. Sorry!

Just the clips. I don't have tint though. I guess it would depend on the quality of the tint film. And as far as I know the velcro is just to put on the bottom so it doesn't flap all around

I just keep a moving blanket in the storage under the rear seat and throw that down when he needs a ride. My dog is 65lbs but really docile in the car.

Amazon dog hammock was $17 and worth every penny. Still lets you store stuff underneath which is the downside of a folding plywood platform. And has room for Draco's best friend Murph too.

He sleeps like a rock in the roof tent . But getting a 70 pound dog down is a little tricky.
