It's funny how close all white gravies are. I used the basic (18th-century) aspects of macaroni and cheese to base all my creams and cheese sauces off of.

 

Yep, I had some allen headed bolts in that size.

 

Yup, x tbsp flour = x cups milk.

This doesn’t thicken like a gravy though, too much water.

 

It's a bit pricey, but worth it if you use it often.

I currently have nothing to outdoor cook on. So I am exploring everything. For when I move into the new house.

 

Unfortunately I think fire season will be worse in AZ this summer.

I think it's the Lil' Tex 22". No fancey wifi. 2.5 yrs old. You can try it for a few cooks if you want.

 

Me and the missus have a standing date to watch the SB and make a batch of SB chili. We make a day of it.

Since we live in Kansas and the Kansas City Chiefs are playing, it's even more fun.
