I'm a skinny guy. I've driven over a million miles in my vehicles (longest drive in 24 hours: 1,500 miles) and I prefer a stiff seat. My 2001 Subaru had excellent seats (put over 500K miles on that car), replaced the stock seats in my 2004 Tacoma with Recaros (expensive, but worth every penny!). Currently, I like the driver's seat in my 2020 Tacoma though I haven't done any trips (greater than 8 hours) with it yet.

As I've gotten older, I've experienced a bit of Pirformis Syndrome (often mistaken for sciatica). Try sitting on a small inflatable pillow between your legs; it takes pressure off of the nerve. When stopping for gas, make sure to stretch (look up runner stretches such as rail stretch or Yoga's pigeon pose) Also, check out www.allett.com for really thin wallets.

As a big guy (built like a tackle at 6’4” and 315#, size 44 waist since I was 15, not claiming I’m not fat, but not what most people think of when they hear over 300#) I don’t find the seats uncomfortable, but the support under my thighs was lacking before I installed the Seat Jackers. In the first 6 days I owned the Tacoma my wife and I drove cross country with 14+ hours of seat time for 3 days. The passenger seat flatness was far worse than the power adjustable drivers seat. I wasn’t uncomfortable until riding in the passenger seat for 7 hours straight on day 3, I had to drive the rest of the way to be comfortable.

As for the wallet, I use one of the very thin Magpul Daka billfold wallets and put it in my front pocket for driving. It holds about 8 card and 10 bills. The outer surface grips the pockets on my pants so it’s unlikely to slide out.

Do the front risers work with power seats?

One good thing about Taco seats is they will look just as good and feel just as uncomfortable after 200k as they did when new.

Yes, they bolt in with the power seat. I would recommend them for both seats.

I watched a YouTube video about the jackers, I believe CholeTaco or something close.

She has a 10% off coupon code at the end of the video good till May 2021.

I have no credit/debit cards (probably coming to an end in the future ? ) I pay by cash and my wallet is always in my front pocket.

i had the same problem you describe but it affected my thighs making them go to sleep and ongoing pain after a bit of driving. i had a local upholstery shop contour my seat and that made it just absolutely perfect. i did try the risers but they didn't work out, my legs are too long for that, so dropping the seat bottom was the right solution for me.

Magpul carries a variey of nice credit card sized carriers, for a couple of bills, license, FOID and CCards. Carry in my front pocket. They make great products.

That episode is the serious reason why I switched to a front pocket wallet. I wont go back to crooked ass and I dont understand people that insist on doing so.
