I've been out in that area countless times. Such a great place to forget the rest of the world exists for a while.

Also, how's life in the good land? I grew up in Goleta and my parents and brothers still live there. I haven't been back in a while because of COVID, but I really miss it!

Life is alright in the goodland. I can't complain.
Spangler is really growing on me. I'm starting to get a good lay of the land and have seen some great conditions.

Very poor focus, I had some other shots that were much better focus wise, but not with the truck. I think I probably accidentally moved the focus ring on the camera. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until I got home and took a look at it. Here is a shot of the campsite that has better focus.

I sent a screenshot to my dad who is much more involved with proper photography than me. He said he could never really dial in on night shots... any tips? All I know is that he's running a good nikon. Tripod involved of course. Maybe I shouldn't have sent it to him because he just got injured. Can't really walk for another month and a half. Then slowed after that if all goes well

The best way is to focus shift with multiple exposures and then mask and superimpose the shots in post processing. It takes a lot of time and effort and when out camping I just haven't taken the time to do it right. I should probably make the effort to try to get that photo shoot shot.
