What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nothing today, but in the two weeks since I got it, Covercraft seat covers,bed rubber liner,door sill rubber protectors, Step bars, RFCC kit with frt cam added,detailed the hell out of, Clay bar and heavy wax, brake flush and all filters.Added a black wrap to the outside mirror covers. Next up is a dash cam and the Lockerdown vault should be here any day. I have done more to this truck in less time than any other vehicle I have owned. And I have owned a couple hundred cars and bikes.

My 1st job as a teenager, we had a time clock, put the time card in, it would stamp the times on there, and we had to put the card into a metal rack (much like these):








Now, I just put my ID badge on a card reader, click "clock in," and repeat when I clock out. Love it. Makes time keeping so much easier.

ya know, I never would've even thought of that to do that. I know the plug in is in the bed. Just never considered it.

Wow, that brought back memories. I worked in a factory as a teenager and they had the same time card setup. I remember the line of workers waiting to punch out when the time clock hit the magic hour. Always thought it was stupid to have to wait in that line. If you got in the back of the line you’d have to wait 10 minutes to sign out. Didn’t get paid for that either.

 

Fortran and Cobol programming cards....bad memories of college.

 

Picking up my new Toyota O.E.M. bed mat tomorrow. Bed light kits for the corners by the tail gate arriving tomorrow, Tri fold bed hard cover arriving thursday-Friday. Installed electronic O.E.M. tail gate lock kit last weekend. Oh Boy!
