Recently I got my TRD grille emblem on and also did the Viper cut to my front bumper for more clearance

 

threw on a MT pro knob that I picked up from a fellow TW member.

 

I was just surprised by that rate in the 90’s.

Well, in 1996, minimum wage was $4.75 an hour. So $1.25 above that was "good." But you also have to keep in mind that pay in Mississippi isn't gonna be like CA. Nor is the cost of living.

 

I was making $10 an hour working at Wendy’s in 1996. Now I make $800,000 a year, but have 3 employees to pay so I’m still at $10 an hour

If you PM me, I can share pictures of how i did it. It's a little tricky and involved a lot of soldering and pulling wires through tiny holes and more. I could make a plug and play solution for others, but that involves getting some male and female wedge connectors that Meso makes.

 

I have the 5100's and a heavy spring package (coils / leaf's) from Headstrong Off-road on my '18 Sport. Very happy with the stance and ride.

 

I did notice that already. When I am sure this is all I want to do with this box, I'm going to use some 3M double sided tape and secure it all. I thought about glue, but not sure how well it would work with the structure of the foam. Also thinking about the lid and options there.

Anyone know what the warranty is the batteries in these things? im at 2.3 years 20k miles, my battery is shot and Im trying to decide if I should even bother going to the dealer or if I should just go grab a new one at costco.

 

I just did a new one at AutoZone. Except I'm at 62k in the same time frame.

 

If you're still under 3 year/36K warranty, should be covered.

 

Ive got a new one all priced out with costco, but If they will replace it for free I would rather save the $150 for something else.

Thanks, all the official toyota stuff says 2 year 24k, but none of it says "factory battery", it all says "battery from a dealer". But then some of it says its not covered if its frozen, well shit, this is MN, batteries freeze every year for about 2 weeks straight.

Guess i'll find out for sure on wed, if they say no, ill drive over to costco down the street and hope they have them back in stock.

 

I had mine replaced by the dealer under warranty at 2.5 years. On that note, the battery that was replaced seems to be weak after 1 yr of usage.

 

This isn’t the first thread I have read about battery issues in less than 3 years of use. I’m curious, do you guys have a bunch of electrical accessories/mods that are shortening the life of the battery, or does Toyota just use lower quality batteries? I’m still new to Toyota’s, so I’m just trying to get a handle on what I should expect in a couple years. With all the modifications that people do to these trucks it just made me curious.

 

Do you just need more length? I have this on my truck. It will gain you a few inches plus give you a 5 pin to tap accessories into in the future.
