Does the Plasti dip match the Super white on the Taco?
Thinking of dipping my chrome bumpers instead of swapping or buying new ones to get paint matched

Thanks for the replies. I agree they come with stories, however I've only had my truck for a couple months and haven't seen any bushes! I wish I knew where they came from...

Just want to enjoy my first NEW vehicle for a while in pristine shape.

I haven't used the white dip, just the black. It looks oem imo.

I use simple green on a rag and hand wipe them... rinse well then spray wd40 on a rag and apply lightly to the flare. Looks like new. Its not shiny and the marks don't really come back... at least not noticeably.

I use wd40 on my dirt bike plastic which is what gave me the idea. I've done it to the flares on the truck for the last 3 post wheeling clean ups.

These black fender things are trashed on my truck, and I’m barely past my second oil change. If I ever sell the vehicle, I’ll put new ones on or plastidip them black.

In all honesty, the fun I’ve had so far with this truck, I could not have had without scratches. I keep that in mind when the sun shines just right, and my year old truck looks a bit like a jalopy.

Trucks are like humans........the good times make us look older in the morning.

Will have to give this a try now that im starting to get out with some consistency. Stuff everyone should have lying around so super good sounding solution if it performs.

Depending on what made the mark you can try an eraser. No joke, the white rectangular eraser associated with removing pencil marks is fairly effective at cleaning up the black plastic.

Any update on how it worked? I'm in a similar spot - I know they'll end up scratched to heck, but I haven't reached my first oil change yet and would like to keep it pretty a tad longer... especially if there are quick/easy options.

Considering I took 10 minutes for all 4, amazing results. You can faintly see them if the light hits it right. But the 10 ft test in most lighting conditions, they look great.
