Dumb question. The black caps, are those (at least up front) behind the toyota cap covers on the stock rims, or do I have to get a set? I like the look without the Tandem center cap and plan on getting a set and new tires sometime in march.

Those black caps are the stock hub dust covers. I have a set of these wheels and the only additional purchase I made was a new set of lug nuts. I believe Tandem now offers a version of these wheels with a center cap to hide the dust cover. The one thing I haven't done (but plan to do) is to paint the rear drum brake to have it blend into the wheels better. Pic below for reference of what I mean. If you keep your truck dirty though like I normally do you can't even see the color difference.

Thanks! So why dust covers on front and not on the rears?
What lug nuts did you get?

Drum brakes on the rear hide the dust cover I believe. Link below to the lugs I got (be sure to get ones with the extra threads). I just checked and Tandem now offers lugs on their site. Description: SPLINE DRIVE E/T ULTRA STYLE CONICAL LUG NUTS 12MM X 1.5 (VARIOUS QUANTITIES)
    SKU: GOR-21138ETBC-24

Any advice would be much appreciated. As always your experience and help is much appreciated.

My setup: Kings (-119-ext front and -121-ext rear, icon tublar UCA's, Old Man Emu mid duty leaf springs)

I just ordered a set of Ray 10 Brushed Bronze, 17x9, -38mm offset rims and have a 2015 second gen tacoma.

    My questions are:

    1. Will it fit in my tacoma, and if not, how much should I pay a shop to trim my tacoma so the rim/tire combo will fit?
    2. Will it effect my tacoma's offroad performance?
    3. What size of tire and brand you recommend?
    4. Am I missing anything?

Just ordered some Ray 10’s 17 8.5 -10 offset, I plan on running them with 265 70 17 which if I’m not mistaken should fit fine correct with no modifications?

You should be ok, I have the same wheels and tire specs and have no issues whatsoever. If you have mudflaps you may rub, however.
