    Hey guys,
My 2017 a/c is out yet I cannot turn it off(light on button stays lit). I dont have premium set up so its basic on/off switch. I'm hopeful that its just a bad switch. Any1 familiar with this?

I suggest disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. should do the trick if you haven't tried it yet.

I tried disconnecting the battery earlier and sadly did not work.

    More info:
A/C has been out for 5 days. 3 days ago during a quick trip A/C worked and was able to cycle on/off. Encouraging I thought. Now back to warm south texas air. GRRRR

If you turn temp to maximum cold it automatically does some stuff. I want to say it might turn on Recirc and AC ON... try turning it to first click warm from cold

Thats great advice. By following those steps I can now cycle on/off but temp drops only 8*. However, when I return to max A/C the on/off prob resumes. I'm thinking the freon level needs to be checked.

Need to get a gauge set on it. (Unfortunately it doesnt use R134a, instead it's the new reduced greenhouse gas refrigerants)

When u say AC is out? What's that mean? The blower doesn't blow air or the compressor doesn't cycle and only warm air comes out? Also, which light is staying lit?

Some years had cracked blowers where it attaches to the motor

Only warm air comes out and on/off switch stays lit with inability to turn off as I normally would.

Some aftermarket bumpers have rubbed a hole in the refrigerant line. Check that if you have anything aftermarket up front. I'm not sure about the light staying on.

Interesting. U been seeing any rodents lately?

I thought @splitbolt had a page in the manual for AC self diagnostic, but that may be dual zone only.

Yes; unfortunately, it's for auto a/c only.
