Can anyone recommend a Service advisor to work with at Bell Road Toyota. This is closest to me. I might consider Right Toyota if anyone has a Great connection. Just would like to have someone I can trust. Thanks for any tips!

+1 If anyone knows a service advisor who will do TSB updates. I know it varies by dealer and wouldn't surprise me if it was different from advisor to advisor.

I’ve had mixed encounters with Christopher. He did do my TSB no questions asked after I described the exact symptoms. But he’s given me the run around on other things. It also says he’s in sales on their website so idk. But I stopped going after my free maintenance ran out.

I wouldn't recommend Right Toyota at all, they took 4 hours to do an alignment for me and had the toe and hook backwards. Took it to my normal guy and he was done in 15 minutes and corrected their mistake

Thanks for the comments so far. Would also consider Camelback Toyota. It is a much farther drive but if someone has a solid connection there.

I bought my car at Right Toyota but free oil changes took like 3.5hrs and the parts dept charges more than retail if you don't try and force them to match camelback's online parts prices. Right Toyota also tried to charge me $218 to sync my TPS modules which discount did for free, and the service guy didn't even want to quote me much less deal with me. So I drive all the way to Camelback and I have used Mike Romero since 2013. The wait room is superior with a quiet area upstairs most people don't know about. Also I bring my synthetic oil and they do the oil changes which saves a ton, and I have a valve on my oil drain plug and they haven't messed it up.

May try to see if mike will help me out with TSB file update, which is supposed to be under toyota extended warranty for pre owned purchases.

He just helped me do the Secondary Air pump Failure on my 2012 on the new TSB extension. He's very familiar with Tacos.

I know it's out of the way from where you guys are talking about but I'm scheduled to have the TSB update done to my '19 at Big Two Toyota on Gilbert Rd. Will report back later but Alex made it seem like he was aware of the forum discussions on TSB-0092-20 and is willing to get it done for me.

Edit: TSB is done, worked with Fred at Big Two Toyota. I walked in and told him exactly what I was looking for, he put it through and now my truck drives like not garbage. Very happy, quick in and out.

Curious if he questioned anything like larger tires(if you have) or if he simply said okay great lets get to work. Also is his last name Hottenroth? Making sure I set an appointment with the right person to save any headaches.

That's the guy. I have stock tires but I mentioned the TW thread on the TSB I was looking to have resolved as well as a description to the cal number on the ECU I was looking to have done and he just went along as if I asked him to rotate my tires. For what it's worth, what I was asking is something Toyota should be doing outright, no questions asked. I was more concerned about the fact that so many people were having a tough time at their respective dealers with it but he was cool and took care of me.
