It's on the new frame platform that everything else will be on from hereon. Expect new 4R and Tacoma 2023 is what I heard.

 

Tundra is rumored to be TTv6 and a hybrid option. 8+ speed trans. Class leading payload / towing / MPG. New rear suspension. I hope they keep the big fuel tank as a option even with increased fuel economy..

New Taco is likely a turbo 4

 

But it'll be on the same chassis as the tundra, meaning you could theoretically plug and play the TTV6

 

New Hilux and Prado on the same platform.

And the Hilux has boatloads of towing and payload, so new Tacos should be .... Mighty...

 

Thought I said works for me, implying function before looks.
