Yes. That is what the intent of my question is. Now, you’re answer to this is still yes ?

Yes, in that, you will get the OEM TSB 92 flash and new learning values with the second flash. Like I said, part of that process is re-setting the current learning values (regardless of version) and let the new flash dictate new values which will be in alignment with the TSB 92 (OEM) (re)flash to give you the OEM 04B81 calibration ID.

No, in that I do not think it will correct the herky-jerky issue, but that remains to be seen. Merely speculation on my part and I hope I am wrong.

    Best.

Get a local OV tune, spend the money as you will be happier. I run it on my 2018 and its simply night and day difference, no hunting for gears, more power and the shifts are super smooth. Drives like one would expect!

Dropped truck off today at the dealer and they said just that. The learning is re set when re flashed not tsb done away with. I’m thinking OV tune would be my best bet now. Anyways, service manager said nothing else to be done as there are no other tsbs out

Definitely going with OVtune soon. It’s incredible how a $40,000 truck drives this bad ... when the truck was brand new, it drove great for 4,000 miles

My truck has the rumble strip vibration when coming to a stop. Oscillating vibration around 50 mph as well as the jerking and hesitating it does. The gas pedal vibrates like crazy in low RPMs and the truck only has 5,000 mi right now. Truck drove amazing when I first got it in October... what gives? Really thinking of trading this thing in at this point.. wondering if its a lemon. Dealership classifies everything as normal characteristics of the truck ... would trading for another tacoma be a dumb decision??

Probably. I wouldn’t do it. If I traded my 2020 in it would be for a different brand. Mine has the rumble strip vibe while braking from 30 - 10 mph. Dealer turned rotors and replaced rear drums. Vibe is still present. I drove another truck and it did it too. There are certain characteristics of this truck we may have to live with.
