As the title states, is it possible to order the TRD OR Premium in LunarRock? I know it can be had in the TRD PRO. Dealer is no help and I have not shopped Toyotas since my Tacoma in 2011. Thank y'all.

Only available in the Pro, but usually the following model year the Pro color is available in other trim levels

No, but wait a year or two. IF it turns into a popular color, it will show up on lower trims.

Which ticks off the Pro owners, because they become less exclusive.

Lunar rock is a GREAT color. But it's TRD Pro only. Each year, the TRD Pro gets an exclusive color, so far...

    2015 - Inferno (Orange)
    2016 - Quicksand
    2017 - Cement
    2018 - Calvary Blue
    2019 - VooDoo Blue
    2020 - Army Green
    2021 - Lunar Rock

I know other 4R trims have had the exclusive colors trickle down (i.e. Cement) but I don't recall the TRDOP ever getting this treatment.

Cement grey has to be my favorite color in the 4Runner followed by the Calvary Blue. Rare to see the Cement grey in my area for the 4Runner. For the Tacoma...dime a dozen.

TRD Pros are ALSO available in some "standard" colors - but not EVERY color. White, Black and I believe they started offer Magnetic Grey recently - but you can't get a Aztec Red TRD Pro. But it doesn't go the other way. TRD Pro exclusive colors are exclusive on the TRD Pro.

There are a couple other colors that are exclusive to other trims. The Pearl White on the Limited comes to mind, but I'm not sure on the rest.

the exclusive Pro colors do NOT trickle down on the lower trims for the 4runner, they do however trickle down on the tacoma and tundra.

The Cement color did trickle down to the Trail model this year but I think that's the only color that has.

Yup, you’re correct! I wish the TRDOP got these colors!

Talked with a local Toyota dealer and he said he had 10 people on a list for lunar rock trd off-road premium.
Gonna see that color everywhere shortly. Kinda like the limited numbers on single model year.
