New set of 35X12.50r17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires. Made by Cooper these are very similar to the STT Pro that everybody loves but with a little more aggressive tread and slightly softer rubber compound for better traction. Load range D with a 34.8" diameter, 21/32nd tread depth & they weigh 69lbs each. They typically sell for $340 - $365 each. Located in Mesa. $1,150obo.

DOES ANYONE NEED THE ECGS clamshell bushing thingy? I bough one and did a regear - I did not use this and have no use for it. $50 takes it, normally $75 with shipping.

Curious.. started looking into these after seeing your post, came across your other thread.. what was your reasoning for not running them? Was it the softer compound or the heavier 69lb weight? I have been researching tires, 35's specifically, for a while now. I didn't look too much into the MT's.. I was pretty sold on the Cooper Evolution MTs, mainly due to the weight savings of them at 64lbs... but the rest of their specs are pretty good too.

 

Just bought this topper and already found something different. Willing to make a good deal to get rid of it this week. $1500obo, ARE carpeted LED brake light, gas struts are perfect, tinted sliding windows with mesh, lock works, comes with 2 keys. Make an offer!

They are a great looking tire and I actually sold a set of 35" KM3 tires so I could buy these instead. I have since decided I would rather have a mild all terrain tire more suited to the highway driving I do. I'm wimping out basically.

These would be more durable than the Evolution MT but they might be a little louder on the street. They do have a 3 ply sidewall versus the Evolution only having a 2 ply so they are more suited to wheeling in the rocks.

I wish I could put things on and take things off of my truck at the rate you do yours.

Method 314's? Was looking at those but got frightened at the weight for a 17x8.5 and ended up ordering MR703's. Any idea what the wheel / tire combo weight is per wheel?

This is the way... though that might be changing here soon for me. Gotta get all the stuff I want on the truck now and then enjoy it for 15+ years while my funds are tied up
