Drove on my needle bearing with a lift for 70,000km before swapping it out.

Needle bearing was in great shape, the CV came out with zero issue.

I've seen people fight the CV nut, I've seen people fight the CV coming out of the differential. Mostly sharing this experience so that when others are searching, there's an example of a needle bearing with high mileage on it. It's nice to have the grumble gone now, I must admit. Took about 25 minutes.

That's pretty awesome to hear you were able to drive on it for so long without damage. I don't know if I'm getting the rumble or not. I have vibrations, but nothing in the steering wheel. It's mainly the gas pedal vibration and it comes and goes. I have a 2" lift and don't hear any "rumble strip" type noises.
I don't have a garage and it's -40 here right now so I'd have to find someone to do it.
Does this sound like needle bearing at least in your experience? And if so is it ok to drive on for awhile?
