I put on new wheels/tires and installed new set of aftermarket tpms sensors that I bought on Amazon. The listing says these are preprogrammed and just need to use the vehicles relearn button to connect. However, that doesn't seem to do anything. My tpms light is on solid. Is there anyway to setup these sensors without needing a special tool? This is for a 2013 Tacoma.

Based on what little I know about the TPMS......

They don't automagically connect to the truck. There is a bit of set up that needs to be done. Call it programming/learning/connecting.

In a nutshell, the TPMS have a code the truck needs to recognize it. One code for each sensor, all need to be "taught" to the truck.

Do you have the codes/serial numbers from the sensors? By chance do you know which wheel has which sensor? If not, then you are upside down. Probably need to open the tire to get the information off the sensor and wheel location. Write it down. Go to a tire shop, pay a fee, they should be able to "relearn" your truck.
