    Thats not the american way. You are supposed to take out 84 month loan. Then in 36 months trade it in on neg equity...

    But congrats! Financial freedom is a great feeling! Mine is paid off and we're just a few months out on my wifes car, but at 0.9% apr on hers, i was in no hurry. I was at 1.9 so i made bigger payments on mine each month.

    To anyone wondering how to do it, trick is to set up auto payments for a higher amount (start out about $100 over your payment) once you start to get comfortable with it, increase to $200, etc etc. It'll kill your loan quickly. And you'll never even notice it missing.

    Title in hand is certainly a great feeling. Took me too many years to figure it out but I now have 4 in my lock box and the 5th likely in April.......and yes, I have a car problem.....:bananadance:
