Ya just use like a rubber mallet and give her some taps in various places. Just not too hard or you're replacing it cause it's very broken.

Good point. Battery voltage isn't an indicator of battery health, either.

Get the battery and charging system tested for free at AutoZone or somewhere like that @jlusmc

 

Battery is fairly new <6mo but if it no work after smashing the solenoid then I'll run it in and have it checked also.

 

Thanks for the tips/tricks and ideas fellas..... will update with the findings as I work thru it.

 

To rule out your ignition switch, use a jumper lead to jump the solenoid bypassing the switch.

If it starts normally when you bypass the switch, then it's probably the switch.

If the issue continues, is probably the solenoid.

 

Or just use a voltage tester to see where you are/aren't getting power in various situations.

 

Work is slow so the boss told me to pick up any golf balls I could find on our property from the country club across the street. Shit I found some good Titleist and Callaway balls

 

@jlusmc learn about voltage drop testing and get a multimeter to do this, too

You can use that method on every electronic issue

 

Many times you can sell them back to them. Just do a quick wash of them (gotta keep your balls clean).

This is the first cook and it's still early so haven't had to use the door for refueling yet, but it is sealed up nicely with no leaks. I really like the lid hinge. Super convenient.
