@Speedytech7 answered it well. Likely because of the load it sees. Sized for the 3rz engine & tank

Pulled the cage out decided to put some weather striping on the bottom. There was a lot of dirt was bill up underneath from the first set up and water was getting to the bolts and rusted a couple of the previous ones. Took the trucks V-Card drilled new holes in the bed added new bolts. Locked in. Rear bumper off.

Has anyone tried these grommets yet.

I'm wondering if you've had positive or negative results extending the life of your spherical bearings.

Older king models use to have those, wonder why it's not an option anymore when you order custom

I've been having a weird issue lately. When I rev it out to around red line and let my rpms drop back down the truck will stall. I've tested it a few times and it always happens.

Could this be an IAC issue or a fuel system issue? I was leaning towards IAC since the truck seems to run fine otherwise and maybe a dirty IAC can't catch the truck from stalling in time when it drops in RPM from high revs?

    Any thoughts are much appreciated.

my truck did this for the longest time after putting my magnaflow catback on. After doing the headers it stopped... is your exhaust modified?

Kinda sounds like you ran right off the map, but coasting back down should give it tons of time to figure shit out and come back. I've never killed one that way, but who knows, the computers on these things are ancient. Lots of quirks hiding in there

i learned you could coast for miles, if you didnt touch the gas, it would die when you came to a stop. But if you tapped the throttle before coming to a stop thing would come back to life.. it was odd. but again. .the headers? problem completely disappeared.
