Howdy! New 1st gen owner here just saying hi.

I've been drawn to Tacomas for a long time, and after a recent incident involving a rather important wiring harness and a wire-hungry mutant squirrel, I found myself in sudden need of a new car. Thus began my hunt for a budget-friendly Tacoma. After some searching, found myself a 2003 double cab that has been very well taken care of, 159k miles, 15 years of full service records, garage kept, etc. I am happy :D

I'm already learning a lot just searching and browsing the TW forums. Looking forward to spending way too much time here :)

She had some dings and scratches so I started with a good wash, clay, compound, polish and wax. She's looking shiny. Also installed a bug deflector (lots of chips in the hood, want to avoid more), touchscreen stereo with backup camera, and replaced some burnt out dash lights with LEDs.

Next up is fixing the cup holder tabs (its the little things right?), cleaning the wheels (maybe plastidip, who knows) and possibly the deck plate mod I've read about on here. Some pics below of where she stands now.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and asking lots of questions. Any questions comments recommendations appreciated!
