    Hello all,

I've been lurking for a little more than a week and have determined this will be a great source of info as I learn about the 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport (Inferno) I purchased last week.

Years ago I owned a 1993 Xtra Cab and loved it. No power to speak of, but it would crawl about anywhere I steered it.

I bought a '12 F150 new and decided to downsize and get back into a Toyota. The one I found is in great shape with about 31k on it. I put some new tires on it and about 250lbs in the bed and it actually does pretty good in the snow we have here. I crawled it through the yard and actually was pushing snow with the front air dam and didn't have to force it to do that. Pretty happy with that. I will not use it for serious off-roading of any kind and will not do a ton of mods (suspension, etc), but am always looking for the little tweaks I can make and those ideas are what make a forum like this so valuable.

One dislike is the fact the dash/display lights do not automatically adjust day to night. Seriously? HA! I hope the next one I get has that. It cannot be an expensive addition in production. Having to constantly access screen settings and toggling between 'Day' and 'Night' modes is not good.

But, so far, love almost everything else about it. So far I have added remote start and have ordered new radio knobs.

Looking forward to learning more from this group and maybe sharing something I've learned along the way!

    Brett
