I know 2nd gens had cat conv rattle issues, but have found nothing for 3rd gens.

I’ve noticed this rattle intermittently since about 600 miles when the secondary fan for the A/C was installed. I’ve reported it each maintenance visit and they can never duplicate it. It only does it when I’m in gear and I only notice it when idling, stopped or just foot off brake.
I’m taking it in again tomorrow for 30k maintenance and decided to try recording it. It sat for about 4 hours in the garage. By the end of the video, it quit rattling.
Does this sound like the catalytic converter?

So my old 2nd gen did this and I found it was a bolt with a spring on it where the y part of the exhaust connects to the tail pipe section it was up against the edge of the flange and I just scooted it over with a screw drive and it went away.

Well never mind. I think I’ve located it.

Check the bolts just down stream of the cat.
