I use those cots for the dogs beds inside. It's the only one I have found that isnt ripped to shreds in less than a minute haha.

Best Camping Buddy Ever!

 

Since I moved to the darkside, aka a Tundra, I swore I wouldn't let Fern ride up front, and she'd be secured via harness and seatbelt. It's been 8 months, and I haven't caved. I do everything to make her life safe, healthy and fun, an extra minute to keep her secure in an accident just seems like a no brainer. Also since the Tundra sits so high, I don't like her jumping out. With the harness I kind of guide her down to the ground while lifting slightly. Obligatory pic...

Good call helping her out of the truck. I do the same with my Labs. Over time, the jump down wears on their joints.
