    I have a 2008 4dr Tacoma with what appears to be a 3,2 lift
My question is I want to remove and put back stock. What do I need to look for? It does not look like the upper control arm has been replaced. Can I leave the shocks. Will I need shorter u bolts for rear springs? Thanks

No on the shocks, and yes. Regardless if you don’t need shorter ubolts, you should not reuse the ones on there.

If upper control looks stock, can I assume it is? Why are they changed? So front in can be aligned?

What type of lift is it OP?

Even if it were an on top of coil puck lift?
Would he still need to change the shocks?

Surely it isn’t a pick lift @3” but you never know?

They are changed to get proper alignment specs after installing a lift. As for the ubolts, I’d go to a local spring company and get them, or online such as wheelers off-road or toyotech

well yes didn’t think about that. For a spacer lift then the stock assembly can be reused. Heck, even for the 5100 lift if you lower the clip you can leave the stock shock. I was thinking more about rear shock bottoming out.

Front lift is, I guess, a puck. Has spacer on top of shock. Rear had the spacer on top the axel. I’m assuming that is all, other than spacers for attachments & spacers under the drive shaft bearing. I’m after a softer ride and lowering a bit.
