Cody, great job on tracing it down. Hopefully you’ll have it all sorted when the part arrives.
Curious which community you live/work in? (I did a ferry flight a year ago through the region.)
    Stay warm!

Thanks! I live in Rankin Inlet. It would have been brought by sealift around September 2019.

Right on! I was there Jan 7 last year. Securing the aircraft outside in 30kt winds and -34 was the coldest I’ve ever experienced. My wife has worked shifts there too (nurse).
Looking forward to reading your issues have been resolved. Looks like your truck has had it fair share of issues already.

I glad you narrowed to that:thumbsup:, it should be that and only that.:fingerscrossed:
After reading a few hundred pages, the Repair Manual has no info (clearly) about that fuse doing it's job. Seems they rely 100% on the test computer telling them of DTC and such and doing harness checks. (I've read on the Forum about getting an incorrectly pinned harness from Toyota)

Haha! Yup that is cold! It has been colder too! That’s awesome, it’s a fun community and I am glad I have been able to work here. My wife currently works at the Health Centre here as a nurse and says it’s very unique from anywhere else she has worked. It’s funny how much you take mechanics and dealerships for granted down south when there is zero support up here.

So after all of that, it was the ignition coil causing the fuse to pop. The truck has been running for the past four days for several hours. Wasn’t going to leave this thread opened without a conclusion so the next person can reference it if need be. What an awesome community. Thank you for all that had helped. Now it’s time to fight with Toyota to cover warranty.

Just to add it to the thread should it be needed later, here's the ignition schematics and a list of all the fuses and circuits. Of course now that we know the answer, it's much easier to see how a bum coil could keep blowing that fuse.

Thanks OP for posting the fix. Never know who this will help later.
