Hello All. Been lurking for a bit, but I thought I'd introduce myself. I finally decided to enter the truck game last November and snagged a 2015 Taco SR5 V6 4x4 access cab. I couldn't be happier! I fell in love with the truck idea when I had a 2020 Lariat Ranger for a loaner car for a week or so. So I traded in a perfectly good 2018 Accord that had all the bell and whistles (and that I never used <--- that was me justifying it).

It came, generously, with weathertech mats/bug deflector, chrome bull-bar, and chrome side steps. I changed the bulbs out for LEDs, a stumpy antenna, and some small things (center console organizer, new A/C knobs, seat-back organizers). Yeah, I plasti-dipped the emblems... and said why the hell not, I'll do the wheels as well. The wheels looked "alright" but I knew what was in my future...

Just recently I went to my local (10 minutes away) 4 Wheel Parts store to talk about new wheels, and after some consideration (and a suggestion on one of their employee's behalf) I decided to "embrace the chrome" (I kinda wanted to black it all out). So I went with some Pro-comp wheels that I think fit well. And why the hell not, throw in a leveling kit, upgrade the wheels to 17 inchers, and put some TOYO open country III's on it. Might as well get your hair wet if you're already in the pool.

Anyway, happy to be here and it's nice to see such a vibrant Taco community around.
