I was explained that a 2-2.5'' lift is probably best for these trucks. Fitting 33s or 35s can be done with that lift, as the goal is to clear the proper items such as bumper or CMC in order to fit said tires. All in all do what you would like to do, but IMO anything larger than 33s will probably ride quite horribly. Re-gearing probably isn't necessary with 33s but I would recommend it.

Do 3" and run 295/70/17s. Much less headache.

That's my plan. Mostly everything delivered.

Honestly, look for a 2" lift kit. There are several good ones out there, I'm going to do an Eibach Pro kit myself once they are available again. Doing 2" on the front and 1.5" in the back. Here's a whole thread for this specific kit: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/eibach-pro-lift-kit.545060/

I'm sick and tired of all of these 6" lifts.

Man up and hit 10"+. That's the only way to really get it done.

Absolutely. For fireroads and whatnot, 12” minimum. It’s function over form.

    Like, so many.
Interesting. I see almost no Brocomas where I live. Lord of bro full size trucks, but most Tacos are stock or either set up for overlanding/off roading.

This guy knows what's up. I'd be fighting to hold back my laughter if someone expected me to take a lifted 2WD truck seriously...

Because some people just do it for looks. And, you can be pretty capable off road with 2wd and a locker. Can't go everywhere but can def have some fun

Go big or go home! Jk. Ill echo some above me. Its your truck and your money. Do what you want. This site seems overland biased and if you aren't into that, then set yours up how you'd like it.
