I'm running 285/70R17s. Have 3 inch lift, icon delta joint ucas, CMC and trimming. Had 0 rubbing issues even even aired down to 17 psi. Had the tires rotated today and drivers front is rubbing in the inner plastic fenderwell in light turns and dips.
Any ideas and yes I checked the air pressure.

I had an alignment, I've been running these tires for 15,000 miles this is the 2nd rotation. Never had rubbing until right after this rotation.

I would still check the alignment. Tires can’t be that out of spec.

Just a quick question. How far do people normally have the caster pushed forward?

I think my camber got pushed back on driver's side... is that possible? Our did the dealership fuck something up when lifting the truck to rotate tires?

Camber is not the same as castor.

To create rubbing, it would seem camber would have to be pretty negative. Enough to see with the eye. Camber on a street truck should be as close to 0 as possible.

If it were mine, I'd rotate that side back like it was and see if it still rubs.

So upon further investigation, the drivers side front which is rubbing on the inner plastic fenderwell, sits about 1/2 inch closer towards the back of the truck then the passenger side. Either the dealership messed something up, or the alignment pushed back on the driver's side?

This is extremely odd. I feel there is missing information here. There is not anything that a tech doing a rotation could do to your truck to throw the caster off like that, unless he went for a test drive and smashed a curb pretty darn hard. Even wrong jack placement wouldn't do that. Half an inch is a lot! Go get your truck aligned man

Not sure why it started rubbing right after tire rotation, but the camber was pushed back. Had alignment and its all good now.

Also just experienced the same thing after a rotation. 285 never rubbed until now after 1 year.. Guess i'm going to get alignment ASAP, Thanks for the information.

Most likely a combo of alignment being off and settling of your springs (or alignment being off from springs settling) and your front tires being worn more than the rear. The difference between an rub and not rub can be fractions of an inch. Get your alignment checked.
