BD switch placement?

where is everybody mounting their 30" switches. tried mounting the rocker switch in the lower slot in front of the shifter with the factory plate but it doesn't fit.

are you guys running a different switch like a cali raised factory replacement?

can't drill a hole and mount in the plate as the switch is larger than the plate.

 

I popped out the blank next to the factory fog switch and added another factory fog switch for a nice clean look.

 

already have my ditch lights in that spot... will a cali raised led switch handle all the watts ? if so ill go that route!
