Some more progress. Only a few big things left then it’s just odds and ends. Axle needs one more shock tab and it can be pulled to be fully welded.

Fuse block mount made. The top will bolt to the engine cage so if I ever need to mess with it I can rotate it.

another mount for a switch pro like block (auxbeam) to control the lockers lights and compressor etc.

And got the grill cut up to fit. Need to find a way to mount it still

More progress. My dad cut some tabs and a radiator mount on his cnc table for me. Got the radiator tacked up. Axle is tacked together and everything cycles clean. Had to move the bump stops in another 1/4 in on the frame. Moving right a long I think.

Radiator, ac condenser, grill and fenders all mounted. Need a new grill and fenders if anyone have any leads near Vegas. Rock auto and eBay have them but shipping kills the deals...

Battery cables ran. Finished the tube for the front x. It’s ugly but only way to clear the fitting on the ac condenser. Ordered a new grill. Not sure what to do today but thinking it may be time to pull the axle and work on that. 4A260FA5-9691-4884-B0CF-6852501A860E.jpg A74FEB20-75FE-4E04-A802-52A07413F9D8.jpg 3442344A-4E08-4B04-B9EE-6A55F0ED4C9C.jpg AB43F244-72B4-43E9-8E9B-E2978184EF13.jpg

Started on a little something.... definitely more welding than I thought. Pre heated the cs to about 175 before welding inside and out. Still have gussets to make and bypass lower mounts to finalize. Kind of looks cool though
Not my best welds. Just couldn’t get comfortable I guess.

More steering, stronger. Going from Toyota 8 in which never gave me issues to a 9 in. Not really sure why I did it. Just kind of did. Was always worried about breaking the 8 in but never did. Probably would have been fine

    Stuff. Also things.
I like how he says the welds on the C’s “aren’t my best”, but they put my sorry ass welds to shame

This has always been one of my top 3 SA trucks on TW and it’s been rad seeing it go to the next level with the links and the 9” :headbang:

Thanks guys. Learned a lot on this truck and wanted to redo a lot of things this time around and trying to do it “right” or off of what I’ve learned fabrication wise.

Insta land gram fabricators have taught me a lot and gave me ideas and tricks and when something doesn’t turn out like I pictured it in my head or drew it up, I tend to be disappointed with it or cut it off and redo it lol or I’ll make this cool piece and go to weld it on and most the time I’ll screw up and the welds look like “crap” or on the slim chance the welder pops or runs out of wire and screws me up lol.

I’m excited to see how much more comfortable and smooth and more steering and just overall how the truck performs.
