Anyone know what kind of electricity comes out of the Tacoma's in-bed 110 volt outlet? I'm pretty sure it's not pure sine wave like we have in our homes.

My question is, is there a way to make it Pure Sine Wave? Is there something that we can plug-in to convert it? Does a 110v to 110v inverter exist or can some type of plug-in surge protector work to clean up the frequency?

I currently have a Pure Sine Wave 12vdc to 110vac inverter for sensitive electronics but I also want to utilize the in-bed outlet to plug in sensitive electronics like a refrigerator, laptop, etc.

A refrigerator or laptop are not sensitive components, as far as caring about a pure sine wave. Doubt that bed outlet would run a refrigerator. The compressor motor would run off a square wave lol, and the computer converts the power back to DC.

Without replacing the inverter I think you might be out of luck, granted that might not be a bad thing because you could increase output as well. Just watch you don't run your battery dead. Curious why you think you need such purity?
