    Possible 1 of 2 things:

    1. A diff with the wrong gear ratio that I can steal the intermediate shaft and axle tube off of for my truck.

    2. A complete donor diff that'll be getting an ARB in the next few months.

Recently built bedside stiffeners for the Taco that I also mounted my co2 tank. I plan to try and definitely use these as mounts for anything else I might need. Current idea is that the passenger side will get a 1.5 ton race jack that I'll probably modify for trail usage, but still not completely set on just that idea.

Pretty happy how things turned out. Not half bad for not having fab'd anything in a hot minute.

Interesting to know. I've actually never paid much attention to the gear noise, but it's the same setup that was in my dad's rig for 10+ years so I might also be use to hearing the sound either way. :notsure:

I guess just for the record. I'm regearing, locking the front, and putting tundy brakes up front as well. All in due time, but I've grown tired of the subpar on-road performance my truck has had in recent years. Still torn between 4.88s and 5.29s. Leaning towards 4.88s since that gets me back to the stock RPMs.
