Check that big red wire, it’s the main power from the battery... either tape it off real good or make sure it’s disconnected under the hood.

as for the system, I’d say run the hell out of it. Go grab a 500w 2 channel amp. Plug them wires up, and bang out some tunes!

I have two 10’s I’m looking to fit behind seat just like this. Wish someone left this in my truck!

Thanks, I am going to go check to make sure the red is not still hot. If it is, I will tape it up good.

Ok that’s good you are familiar with then. Your going to need a couple more wires to get this going if you choose to go that way. You should definitely check the battery and see if that power line is live. Hopefully the person that pulled the amp had enough sense to disconnect it from the battery but if they didn’t you should or do what the other member suggested and just tape the end up with electrical tape so it doesn’t contact something and blow fuses or cause a problem of some kind. You will obviously need power so you are good there. One of the seat bolts is a good ground just make sure it’s cleaned up and bare metal so the connection is solid. You will need rca cables to carry the signal from the HU to the amp. This could be the other large wires you mentioned but not sure. There should also be a blue or sometimes blue and white remote wire to tell the amp to turn on. Based on what you said about your listening habits you would probably be plenty happy with something in the 300w rms range. You can find something that size for pretty cheap.
