Question regarding content

I’m still a relatively new member on the forums (been on here for awhile but didn’t start an account until last year) and don’t want to get in trouble with the moderators or upset anyone. This is such a tight knit community and have met some awesome people I stay in contact with.

I was wondering if it is allowed/pc to post things like GoFundMe on TacomaWorld? My son was diagnosed with cancer in December and isn’t doing very well. His moral has dropped to nonexistent as he is losing his drive, if you know what I mean. Before he was a gear head like most of us on here and loved working on his 1992 land cruiser. Now he doesn’t have the motivation to even look at a magazine. He got hauled to the hospital again last night due to some complications. He lost his job right before his diagnosis and his medical is astronomical.

Again, I don’t want to post something and get trashed or banned or posting. I’m to the point I’m reaching out to anyone and everything I can to get him help, moral support so he knows there are people out there that care for him even if he doesn’t know them and some financial assistance. If anyone can let me know if it is allowed to post links to things like GoFundMe, suggestions or wants to reach out to me directly please holler at me. Sorry for the long post. I don’t do social media and TacomaWorld is one of the few places I have online I talk to people. Thanks guys

as per the code of conduct, gofundme is not allowed...

that being said, could always try dropping a line to one of the moderators, they generally reply back right away and help clear any confusion or misunderstandings

cancer has touched many people here on the forum, so I know I speak for many here in saying we wish your son and family the best in the fight against a terrible disease

 

Go here and look for "staff members" on the right and send them a message.
