I'm still impressed at how well the stock trucks did threw that trail.
There were certain parts that I was saying to myself, "how the hell did those guys get threw this?!"

That was a mixture of good spotting and "having the balls by the driver" to do it. Definitely cudos to all of those stock guys that day.

    # Adam Henry do you run those Coopers on your truck now? If so, how is the noise level and ride quality compared to OEM? Also what trail was that your talking about, and where is it located so I can try to look it up, and get and idea? Thank you.

I can help with experience on my end here. I have 255/85/16s, E rated tires and they make the ride a little harsh and more bumpy, if that makes sense. Now, I have an Ironman Foam cell pro lift, so it’s already a little stiff to begin with. I don’t thinks it’s unbearable and my wife noticed and said something as well. Her comment was that it rides like a truck now.
I’ve not put enough miles to give a better review yet but road noise isn’t that bad.

@bonesamon, my truck is stock, not lifted. The ride is a little “bouncy-er”. Some have complained of pull, but I have not had that experience. It rides more like a truck than with the stock tires. Nothing over the top or unpleasant. Off road on easy to moderate trails, they have not failed me I am happy with the choice and will probably keep them on if/when I lift my truck. Here’s how they look from side and back.

Thanks for responding guys. Those tires do make it look a little more aggressive with that tread. Now are those tires the same diameter/ride height, or did you gain a little lift with the tires alone. I think my tire stock are 30” high with a tape measure. Also Devir7, are your tires also the Cooper’s also?

Tires will give the truck more lift and adding a lift will allow you to fit bigger tires. Moving from 30" tires to 32" tires will give your truck about 1 inch more clearance and lift respectively. Just by adding a lift, it will give you more clearance, yes, but an increase in tire size will increase that overall lift as well.

    Love Falken Wildpeaks.

I have 3 inch lift, sliders, and Falkens. I've done a little of MOAB including Top of the World, and about to do SW Colorado trips you're wanting to do.

I have a sport with no lockers.

Cool someone running those Falkens. Hey ReaserchMonkey, what size Falkens do you have? What type of 3”lift did you do( like blocks, struts, etc), and how did the truck react as far as road handling/ride/noise level compared to stock? It seems you like the OR traction. Do you have photos on here? Sorry to blast you with a million question, it’s just I was hoping to talk to someone with that setup. Thanks for responding.
