    Hi All
I have a 2017 Tacoma that just rolled over 100,000 KMs. I noticed a different sound at idle the other day and have been investigating that wasn’t the injector cleaning cycle (at least I don’t think). It is intermittent and will sometimes occur and sometimes not.

I first cleaned my MAF and Throttle body. I noticed that when I was cleaning the throttle body that the PCV hose was undone on the lock but THINK it happened when I was undoing the intake hose but I can’t be sure. Either way I connected it.

This lead me to finding this wet residue around the PCV hose and immediate area. Trying to figure out what’s going on and help would be appreciated. I’ve attached some pictures of the wet area front and back as well as oil level which looks slightly high .

    Thanks for any help.

Hoping this may just be crankcase vent, but not sure.
I guess if it is it would be argument for a catch can.
