Do you guys think this can be PDR’d? Frozen tree limb from the ice storm. Have not contacted insurance yet. Just trying to get an idea of how many tears I should cry tonight

PDR won't fix the paint that has chipped off near the door jamb. Looks to me like you will need a body shop repair on that.

Zero tears. That's why you pay for insurance. Use it.

Yeah but there is still likely a deductible and the possibility of losing discounts such as claims free etc. Best course of action would be to ask your insurance agent or broker what the effect of the claim would be. At least it won't be at fault.

It'll be a comprehensive claim. My comp deductible is $0 & it's cheap for me to have it. There will be no loss of any discounts when making a comp claim. It's the same as making as claim for a new windshield. What's the point of having comprehensive insurance if you're never going to use it? You pay for it for a reason. Use it.

This will definitely go over your deductible. Don't fear the insurance co. I've made a couple of big claims and my insurance did not go up. Your paint is chipped and the metal is exposed. You are definitely going to want to get this repaired to also remedy long term or you will get rust pretty quick and have a rust problem around your window as well.

Some insurance companies have discounts for no comprehensive claims hence my suggestion to contact the broker or agent first to discuss. This however will likely be worth claiming.

That looks creased. PDR can’t fix a crease.

Wishing you the best of luck.

no PDR on that crease, used to do body work & paint and you are looking around 1800-2800 if not more on these new cars...they would paint the whole roof most likely instead of blending it out..
