What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I noticed the cut fenders. I remember when I was on my old suspension setup with heavy OME leafs in the rear, it rode like a log wagon and sat much higher in the rear than the front. Not enough weight on heavy leaf could definitely be the issue.

Yesterday I retorqued my U-Bolts after installing the AAL. They either backed off or the whole U-Bolt assembly shifted significantly since the install (roughly 100 miles of driving since install). I was able to get almost a whole turn on all the bolts.

For anyone who has messed with your rear suspension recently I suggest remembering to retorque everything down after a bit of driving.

 

Yessir, plus I pulled my fender flares so it looks like they're sticking out further.

The screws for my RokBlokz had a tendency to loosen over time. I usually performed checks on them and tightened them as needed, but yeah not typical of past mud flaps used. Interested to see how you end up securing to the metal behind.

 

After about day seven of being -30 at night, my truck decided it didn't want to start anymore. Wouldn't charge with the charger yesterday so today I'm putting the thing on there for several hours. I am out of coffee now so it has quickly become an emergency.

 

When I still had the steps and roof rack on, we were almost twins.

 

Dont you use your block heater? That helps. Now, the “ out of coffee” is an emergency!

 

It sits inside a garage and I've never needed it, though I do have one. Granted the garage has a hole in the wall that a pregnant raccoon could get through but it's still warmer that sitting outside.

 

I wish I had a block heater here in MN! The girlfriends car has one and it makes me very jealous!

 

Thats surprising. I lot of Toyota dealers in the cold states include it preinstalled before purchase. They did in MT. Back before I retired both my DW & my workplaces had plug-in stations for your block heater and with sometimes the high temp being -35*F, we needed them.

 

I did use it once when I parked outside for work one day. It was stupid cold like it is now.

Any recommendations for a 3 inch lift leaf that is made for little to no weight? Allpro? Deaver?

 

I’m diggin this spotter mirror! Totally covers the blind spot. Wish the passengers side wasn’t sold out for another 3 months...
