I just want to see how it’s arranged so I can gage clearance for either a Tundra rack or slide rack brace. My steering rack is very unhappy! I don’t have a V8 in my truck yet but the donor 4Runner has been sitting at my dads yard in CA for a while lol so no real timeframe

    Hahahaha!
First off: I'm 98% sure this is a joke.
Secondly: If obnoxious hipsters selling laundry baskets was the only thing wrong with Seattle, we would all be able to afford $100 laundry basket sleds and the trip to the doctors office afterwards.

COVID free, I’m going to repaint my sliders tomorrow. Who’s down for scratching them up next week?

Made a few changes to the swing out tailgate. I added a threaded bung and a heim joint to the top hinge so as I add weight I can adjust the tailgate up and down. pretty happy with how this turned out especially since it was only about $350 in parts compared the $1800 wilco tries to charge.

I like this idea of replacing the tailgate with a swingout. Just one step to get into the bed instead of swingout and then dropping the tailgate. Nice work. You could probably sell these if you felt so inclined.

Looks good, you might want to get rid of
the rubber bushing and find something more dense, that one will be chewed up
    In no time
