I'm thinking about a 4x6 or 5 x 7 enclosed trailer for general purposes (Camping, hauling etc.). I want it for a little utility Work BUT mostly Play... Ideally it would have an axle-free suspension! (Maybe a retrofit?) :D

I can also see the merit in an open one to avoid cargo size restrictions...

What sort of trailer do you have? (Pics/ models please!)

If you were looking for one now - would you look for the same -or do you covet other features?

    Thanks!

Everybody has a utility trailer and there are millions of types and brands and they look similar. Let me save you some time:
Closed if you are hiding cargo.
Open is much more user friendly.
    At least 5X8
15" wheels a must to keep from melting wheel bearings
    Buy the spare tire
Take the spare tire with you.

That's it. They are cheap, like a grand and will last forever if you do even horrible maintenance.

I bought a 5'x10' utility trailer from an actual trailer store.it is open.I wish that I had bought the one with sides .other than that I use it a lot.I refinished it last summer.wood floor is better than the steel mesh.
