My wife has a very important Zoom meeting later this afternoon and she was very worried about missing it with our rolling blackouts or losing connection mid-meeting. I said not to worry, ran an extension cord from the outlet in my truck bed to the router and voila, consistent wifi. Tacoma TRD Offroad to the rescue!

I just took in three houses since their power is knocked out.

I got out for a bit to check on the shop. All is well there. On my way home I was goofing around a little and ended up bumping into a chain link fence and scratching my bumper... #totaled #partitout

    Awaiting build day
So I thought I would make someone's day and take a first responder to work. Well I got all excited that I was picked to take a nurse to work. I waited for the email so that I could call and get all the relevant information on where they live and work as well as times. Finally the email came and once I started to read the information I realized I got played. They gave me my wife to take to work. I'm just messing as I did take my wife all the way to Weatherford this morning. All I know is tomorrow will be worse but I am glad that I can make sure she gets to and from work safe. This is all due to work being shut down for safety. All I know is when we open back up it will be as busy as Christmas or even worse like when the pandemic started yesterday. Did anyone else take a front line worker to work this week?

Yes she does. She works at one in downtown Fort Worth and took a contract at one in Weatherford.

It’s been time... buying a house though, so no play money.

Which hospital are you referring to? Would she know you as a patient or coworker?

I can’t tell if you’re being facetious or not, but not enough people are appreciating this post either way.

All I can say is please be careful you guys.

The freeways are nice and clear today, BUT...

It was my observation today that as people got a handle on things they got more and more ballsy. People were slow and careful this morning, but by noon, I saw tailgaters today. I saw people weaving back and forth between lanes as they passed through traffic.

Don't be ballsy. Remember that it isn't necessarily speed that will kill you, it's having the luxury of several seconds to get 'er stopped.

Keep a nice big buffer between you and the next asshole. :cookiemonster:

She hasn't been there long. That is the hospital that she is doing a travel contract with.
