Can anyone help with towing installs

Never thought about pinning the cooler open.... I’ll have to keep that in the back of my mind come warmer temps.... ty

 

Op has a 2013 there is no t-stat to pin open. That is 3 gen only

Redarc install. Don't mind my open blanks... pic was taken while work in progress. Actual controller is mounted behind the panel. Dial is all you need to set and adjust.

 

that’s a clean mount! I was actually looking at that same brake controller

 

I've been pretty happy with mine. Super clean install with the Shapeways cubby plate.

 

I'm still waiting for the switch panel I ordered from shapeways. In the mean time, I cut a piece of ABS sheet to make a temporary mounting spot.

My shapeways panel finally came in. I got the one with three blanks for future use.

Side note - for push to start trucks, if you press the brake controller knob in and then press the start button, the truck will start. No need to get in and press the brake pedal if you want to warm it up while you're loading things.

 

that looks clean! I ended up installing my brake controller under my steering area and my scanguage on top of steering area where my gauge are at

 

That's a nifty find. Makes sense if the controller is spoofing a brake pedal signal. Going to check it out next time I start up.
