i dipped a toe here and bought 1 put at $28...printing now...
if it blows up tomorrow, i'll average down and wait for Friday's sell off...

Just watch out on puts...Take the money and run. They have a bottom, unlike calls which can go up and up...The stock is @$28 so if it stayed here for the rest of the SHORT week you're making $0. If you have the $28 and it's stuck at $28....don't be ashamed of taking the time $$$. It has to drop to $26.56 for you to get the $1.44 it's worth right now by friday

From Rocket to SuCKiT?

 

Anybody in on Ocugen? I bought in at $1.80 kinda wanna pull out just seeing it is staying stagnant now. I am mostly a crypto guy so not too into stocks just heard about this one and jumped and it has paid off so far. All that being said I do think it has the potential to double if FDA approval is given.

 

You didn’t sell at 13 or 14, so what has changed that makes you want to sell?

 

Not going to lie kinda just bought based on a dumb google article (like I said not a stock guy) now I’m reading that their true value only comes from FDA approval which I didn’t know and I can only assume if it doesn’t it will tank back down.

 

i'd hold...
they had a share offering recently where some major institution bought shares at $8 (it was 5.xx) at the time (positive price pressure). that caused the huge spike, price movement down was the effect of the large share offering (i.e. dilution of total number of available shares = neg price pressure).
now it's probably gonna cruise along between 10 and 12 for till FDA announcement.

Just a way to drum up volume for folks like me to see and jump on (I didn’t but regret it, was in and out of meetings all day so couldn’t babysit)

FOMO sets in and people run it to the moon while some cash out.

most of everything i own is long however but I def will take advantage of a day trade if the opportunity comes up and I am not too chicken crap to jump on it

This morning I just started seeing this one pop cause the 10 day was 300k volume and it was over 21mill before open!

wish I would have jumped but I thought no way it would keep going. Had meetings from 10-12:30 so didn’t get in on that pop.

I was using the TD website looking at top volumes, gainers, losers etc until I came across this website last week and have been seeing all the different filters, columns etc you can sort by.

As an excel guru in and out of it all day for work and analysis of data this site made me very happy. Haven’t looked into the paid version however yet where you can actually dump this into excel and sort /filter, pivot tables etc but the free version has been working well.

I am still trying to nail down what works best but have come up with a few options that have worked well.

What blows my mind is that, I am a dinky little guy working for a large company. I am a lowly senior quality engineer. IF I want to buy, say, a set of digital calipers - that's under 100$, I think I could just do that.

Now, let's say I, the lowly, dinky Sr. QE want to buy a Faro arm. (PS - I would never. They're cool, but not useful at all in my manufacturing environment). The freakin signatures and approvals and moving the earth that would need to happen for a ~10k transaction, oh my lord.

This is amazing, because it will get blamed on one person probably, but this was a multitude of "this guy submitted it and then 10-15 people all the way up just approved it without reading it"
