Having trouble determining which skid plate will work best for my new 4wd Tacoma SR. I've see a nice kit fron RCI Metalworks, and the OEM TRD looks OK. However I can't find out how much the TRD plate covers vs. the RCI plate. Any thoughts or recommendations for other sources are welcome.
    Thanks,
    Carl

Most all of the basic skids go from the front crossmember back to the rear of the front suspension mounts.

This is nice as the suspension mounts are easy to get hung up on stuff or becomes a plow (the bad kind) in deep snow.

Thanks tonered. I'm more concerned with rocks "interacting" my transfer case or exhaust system, which I encountered in Mexico last spring in our 4Runner. These items are surprisingly exposed on this truck.

    You're welcome.

You'll need more than the basic skid for that.

I do like my pre-axle dump.

When you're going between AZ and WA you can stop at BAMF in CA and get these. 1/4" and full coverage.
